We were all glad to see each other after the winter break. We played outside for a shorter time today: there was plenty of ice to play with on the playground. Snow pants are a great idea these cold winter days.
We got a new toy in our classroom over the vacation. You can build various shapes of towers and drop marbles down the tower and see how they come out at the bottom. Here Matthew, Jay, Avery and Isaac are helping build a marble works tower to drop their marbles down. Voila!! It worked. We will further examine this toy tomorrow as we learn why things fall to the ground as with these marbles and snow flakes. We are learning a little Newtonian physics for the pre-schooler.
