Our first day back at school in 2011 was especially exciting - we all welcomed Barbara back to our Scientist class! Everyone signed a "welcome back" banner, and some of the children added some beautiful decorations. We were able to surprise Barbara with shouts of "welcome back, Barbara!" and the banner was strung across our doorway.
The Scientists had some wonderful welcome back wishes for Barbara:
Naomi - I hope you feel better.
Alex - I hope you don't break your back again.
Jayden - Welcome back.
Becca - I missed you alot.
Alison - Welcome back, Barbara.
Lucas - I missed you alot.
Jake - I hope you don't get your back broken again.
Jonathan - Welcome back, Barbara.
Noah - I like when you come back.
Matthew - You're a good teacher, Barbara.
Jeffrey - I love you. I hope you stay at school all day.
Daniel - Welcome back, Barbara.
Smiles and hugs were all around!
