Cold weather did not deter the Sunshines from enjoying their favorite outdoor activities on the first school day of 2011. Eli and his classmates worked hard to dress themselves in snowpants, boots, jackets, hats and mittens, and then headed to the playground. Imagine pedaling a tricycle--uphill--while wearing all this gear! Where there's a will, there's a way. Other Sunshines shoveled the icy snow, scraped ice from the slide, and sold hot chocolate from the former ice cream stand. All enjoyed the sun and the new possibilites for winter play.
